Like many businesses recently, Loomis sought to improve their workspace by adding personality, functionality, and usability. As their existing workspace was open plan, Loomis struggled to visualise how a redesign could work for them.
That’s where Arc came in! Along with other commercial interior design companies, we were invited to look at their space and tasked with creating a design that could encapsulate their initial aims.
We worked closely alongside Loomis and provided them with high quality design renders and 3D walkthroughs to show in great detail how their new workspace would come together, allowing Loomis to really feel the inspiration behind the design. As the space wasn’t client facing, we were able to stretch away from their corporate branding and create a scheme that was both calming and inviting.
By dividing the space into 3 sections, the design naturally allowed Loomis to have 3 distinct areas; a practical working area, a dual meeting space and a collaboration zone come work lounge.
Together with a new slat wall, wallpaper and flooring, we provided and fitted new furniture from Boss Design, JDD Furniture and Imperial Office Furniture. By transforming their existing space, the new design has not only reduced echo and noise disruption, but in turn has increased staff productivity and output, encouraging employees to return to the office and enjoy their new hybrid office space.
We recently carried out a refurbishment of our Nottingham city centre office in conjunction with Arc Business Interiors.
Their support was invaluable and they helped us realise our vision – which was to create a modern and stylish working environment to help encourage our people back into the office. When we explained the look and feel we wanted Andrew and Keiren quickly sourced materials to give us an idea of what they could create.
We weren’t bombarded with ideas, just suggestions for, layout, colour schemes and furnishings they thought would be suitable to create the environment we wanted. Their communication throughout the process was impeccable: they kept us updated throughout the process, checked in regularly to get our feedback and made even the most technical detail easy to understand.
Our working space is now a much cleaner, stylish and accommodating environment and has been warmly welcomed by our people as they come back into the office and this wouldn’t have been achieved so successfully without the welcome assistance of Andrew and Kieren who we enjoyed working with.
