CPMG Architects

CPMG Architects is a very well-recognised architectural firm that holds a strong reputation across the industry. So when we were offered the opportunity to tender for the fit out of their new office space, we were honoured.

With the selected property being listed, CPMG needed to ensure they worked with a contractor who were used to working within listed buildings and also a contractor who would deliver the works to an extremely high standard, whilst ensuring the building’s history and all listed elements were correctly maintained.

CPMG involved Arc Business Interiors early in the process so we were able to survey the space in detail and begin to collaboratively develop the scope. Upon undertaking the initial site surveys, we found quite significant amounts of damp and dry rot within the building. We subsequently worked closely with the landlord and our specialist contractor to rectify the areas of damp and dry rot within the basement which included tanking areas, dry rot removal and treatment.

Predominantly our works on this project consisted of a detailed architectural steel mezzanine, partitioning, flooring, MF and suspended ceilings, decoration, joinery, bespoke joinery, new traditional timber sash windows frames, acoustics, and a complete M&E package.

CPMG created a wonderful design that really utilised all the available space for the Nottingham office. The end result of our collective teamwork produced a high-end finish, leaving the historic building looking phenomenal and is a great example of how modern design can be tied into traditional architecture.
