Today saw the beginning of our five week programme of works at Checkpoint Systems two storey office and showroom facility in Newbury.

Checkpoint Systems, a division of CCL Industries, is a global leader in merchandise availability solutions for the retail industry, encompassing loss prevention and merchandise visibility.

Checkpoint provides end-to-end solutions enabling retailers to achieve accurate real-time inventory, accelerate the replenishment cycle, prevent out-of-stocks and reduce theft, thus improving merchandise availability and the shopper’s experience.

Our package includes a cat B fitout across two floors. The overall size of the building is just under 6,000 square feet. The Salt and Rock range of carpet tiles from Desso will add texture and colour, representitve of Checkpoint’s corporate colours of red and grey throughout both floors, while Kardean will create a aesthetically pleasing, yet hard wearing surface within the canteen area.

The ground floor will be the home to three meeting rooms, a soft seating area and a working showroom to showcase the range of products Checkpoint provide to the retail industry. On the first floor, we will create a canteen area and open plan office space which will be come the home of just over thirty staff.

On completion of our interior works, we will then install bench and executive desk systems from Imperial, along with storage, task and meeting seating to both floors.

Meeting tables and a credenza from Orangebox finished in Artisan Oak, will add the finishing touches to the ground floor meeting area.
