Case Study - HMRC

Arc were appointed by Carillion to improve the facilities’ at both there HMRC offices in Stoke and Wolverhampton.

The scope of works for both sites was very similar as they both required refurbishments to the Reception, Toilets, Landings and Stairwells. At HMRC Stoke the scope also included refurbishment work to all their kitchenettes.

Arc carried out all elements of the refurbishment works associated within all the area’s on both sites therefore offering the client a full turn-key solution. The works included suspended ceilings, carpeting, safety flooring, Kitchenettes, WC’s, decoration, plumbing, heating and lighting.

The improvements made to both building have been greeted with high praise by both Carillion and HMRC staff.

To ensure the project was completed within the tight deadline, the work was carried out both during and outside of normal working hours. For this to be achieved a strict programme was adhered to and a forward planning scheme was issued to ensure we maintained a high standard of work along with a professional working environment causing minimal disruption to the live working site.

Both projects were delivered on time and within the £500,000 budget assigned
